2014

How we started

It was in 2014 when Giannis Charchantis made the decision to create InfinityGreece.

A room. In a house.

We started as a small team of university students, offering young people the opportunity to get involved with video production, radio shows, and article writing.

But, young people didn't need

As the shows, articles, and videos took shape, we discovered that our volunteers ultimately valued the socialization and sense of teamwork they gained from interacting with people their own age, even more.

When the team was formed in 2014, I realized it was solving a problem: young people wanted to acquire skills, meet other peers, enrich their CVs, help with an initiative they considered important, and do all the things they believe are the mission of a youth organization.

And so, InfinityGreece took shape.

We took our first steps as a team of over 100 members, new groups were formed, and that room from 2014... it just couldn't hold us anymore!

Thus, great institutions and organizations in the city opened their arms and took care of InfinityGreece, giving it the space it needed to grow. Kids in Action and United Societies of Balkans helped us become bigger.

2018

The year we grew

Two major steps in the history of InfinityGreece became a reality:

We acquired legal status as a Social Enterprise (Kooin.S.E.P. - Greek acronym for Social Cooperative Enterprise). The employees of InfinityGreece generate revenue by offering marketing services to other businesses and organizations, through SALDO, which they reinvest in the creation of programs and the maintenance of the volunteer community.

We acquired our own offices. Our volunteers now had their own space to create the projects they wished for.

2021

When we were awarded

From that point on, the only path was... success (Thank you!). ΗρακλήNew projects, successful collaborations, and a team that creates impact wherever it goes.

We won third place in the Greek final of the Global Student Entrepreneurs Awards, and our volunteer program received the Silver Award at Hellenic Responsible Business Awards 2021.

To this day, the volunteer program has created the conditions for young people in Thessaloniki to become a true community.

2023

Our Youth Center

We reached 2023. The team is growing, projects are increasing, and the need for a larger space is urgent.

That's how the decision was made for InfinityGreece to create its own Youth Center. It will be a large space that young people in Thessaloniki can visit, create in, and connect with each other.

Imagine a place where young people discover themselves, grow, and develop skills they've never had the chance to before. That's InfinityGreece.

Today

We continue to create a safe environment for young people's expression and development. We collaborate with organizations and institutions from all over Europe, while also being able to support other local groups in the city... Just as it was when we started out ourselves!
