Oktober 2021 durfte InfinityGreece junge Menschen aus Thessaloniki und K\u00f6ln begr\u00fc\u00dfen und die Jugendbegegnung \u201eRemember for the Future\u201c organisieren, ein Projekt, das von den historischen Ereignissen des Holocaust und der gemeinsamen Kulturgeschichte zweier L\u00e4nder inspiriert ist.<\/p><p>Dieses von der Hellenisch-Deutsche Jugendstiftung (ELGIN) finanzierte Treffen bot den Teilnehmern, die sich zuvor online kennengelernt hatten, die M\u00f6glichkeit, zusammenzuarbeiten, Ansichten und Reflexionen auszutauschen und Vielfalt und Solidarit\u00e4t gegen Rassismus, Vorurteile und soziale Ausgrenzung mitzugestalten . Auf der Agenda des Programms standen nicht-formale Lernaktivit\u00e4ten wie Rollenspiele, Menschenrechtsworkshops, Besuche von Holocaust-St\u00e4tten und -Museen, Outdoor-Aktivit\u00e4ten sowie sportliche Aktivit\u00e4ten wie Bogenschie\u00dfen und Klettern.<\/p><p>Die Teilnehmer zeigten besonderes Interesse an Aktivit\u00e4ten, die Teamarbeit, Brainstorming und Interaktion mit Teilen der Stadt Thessaloniki erforderten. Bezeichnenderweise weckte der Besuch der Gegend von Dendropotamos und des &#8220;Leuchtturms der Welt&#8221; ihr Interesse, da sie die M\u00f6glichkeit hatten, einen anderen Aspekt der Stadt Thessaloniki zu entdecken. F\u00fcr die deutschen Teilnehmer wird das Schwimmen im kalten Wasser des Strandes von Perea und das traditionelle griechische Essen unvergesslich sein. F\u00fcr die griechischen Teilnehmer entwickelte sich die Rolle des &#8220;Guides&#8221; in der Stadt zu einer pers\u00f6nlichen &#8220;Challenge&#8221;, um Erinnerungen und Lieblingstreffs mit ihren deutschen Freunden zu teilen.<\/p><p>Eine Br\u00fccke zwischen Thessaloniki und K\u00f6ln verbindet nun zwei aktive Jugendgruppen, InfinityGreece und Jugendzentren K\u00f6ln gGmbH, die zusammenarbeiten und Gedanken und Reflexionen \u00fcber die gemeinsame Zukunft der beiden L\u00e4nder austauschen wollen. N\u00e4chstes Jahr findet er uns wieder in K\u00f6ln, wo wir Freunde und Partner treffen und diese Verbundenheit, das Teilen und die Verbundenheit wieder sp\u00fcren werden<\/p><p>\u201eEs war eine extrem transformierende Zeit f\u00fcr alle beteiligten Kandidaten. Aufgrund der Sprachbarrieren und Altersunterschiede musste man sich am meisten anstrengen. Man konnte deutlich sehen, dass das menschliche Bed\u00fcrfnis, diese Barrieren zu \u00fcberwinden und sich auf einer tieferen Ebene zu verbinden, gr\u00f6\u00dfer war. Die Spiele gaben daf\u00fcr eine starke Basis&#8221;, Mariam<\/p><p>\u201eIch habe zum ersten Mal an einem Jugendaustauschprogramm teilgenommen und kann sagen, dass ich begeistert war. Mir hat sehr gut gefallen, dass wir zu Beginn des Programms alle fremd waren und bis zum letzten Tag so aneinander h\u00e4ngen. Der Moment, in dem mir klar wurde, dass es der Moment des Abschieds war, dass jetzt alle in ihr t\u00e4gliches Leben zur\u00fcckkehren w\u00fcrden.
