Dialogue and cooperation among European youngsters has always been important, and now with the convulsed times that we are living, it has become crucial to empower the youth population of Europe.
At InfinityGreece we believe that by favoring the networking among youth workers and young volunteers, we’re having a positive impact on our society. That’s why we hosted this event called “Creating Volunteering Circles” during 28th February-6th of March, cofounded with the support of Erasmus + and EU, in which 28 young people cooperated and shared their insights about volunteering, working with the youth and creating collaborations.
The atmosphere was great, with our participants from diverse European countries such as Estonia, Bulgary, Croatia, Poland, Hungary, Portugal, Romania and Greece; establishing connections, agreements for future partnership and enjoying this week with each other.
In order to make this project happen, we designed workshops in which the participants could gain knowledge about the topics, highlighting the importance of volunteering and its different variations, empowering possible cooperation among them and the possibilities that this program can offer to them. These workshops were carried by the facilitator and trainer team, which did a great job reaching the participants and spreading the information.

The profiles of the participants were very diverse, ranging from youth workers with experience on the field, to students who wanted to know more about the topic and even people who had their own associations and wanted to expand their horizons. This diversity didn’t bring difficulties, but helped them to appreciate different points of view and interests, sharing different cultures and backgrounds, and gaining super valuable knowledge that will boost their work perspectives.
We had some representatives from InfinityGreece, such as Korina, one of our young volunteers.
She was the youngest participant in the project, nonetheless she enjoyed the week and had the opportunity to learn a lot about volunteering. She also shared with us her perspective: “this project had so much impact for me, that from now on I’d like to work as a youth worker and specialize in human rights”.
Ayyan, a participant from Hungary, tell us that: “the fact I really loved about this project was contact making partnerships and a healthy integration with my colleagues from the different countries that attended. Secondly I’m really happy to find new friends which are like a family now. Thank you so much InfinityGreece for providing me this great opportunity”.
Another testimony is coming from Jesus, a participant who attended this project as well:
“This week has represented an unique opportunity to develop a network of youth workers and people interested in this sector, and has inspired me into focusing in this field for my work career”.
Although this successful project has ended, we look forward to continuing to expand this topic and sharing the importance of connecting youth people across Europe. We will continue developing projects like this that will help youth to expand their knowledge and job opportunities.
